Stonehead's studio

Click your mouse on the picture below and drag it around. The view will spin as if you were standing in the studio looking around... (requires quicktime)

Hi Ian...

DOn't know if you meant to save this as a draft post, but I saved it as a post. Like the idea. Why is it so small a window? Any idea?

Hi Fred
It didn't work very well at all....The file I tried to upload was a quicktime virtual panorama of my studio but for some reason the player just squashed it.......no idea why.
I am going to use the pano's on a web site I have planned...a way off yet though

Hey Fred
I have tried a sideways work around for now by adding a link to a blind page on my work site.
I got the Pano software and 360 lens for work and I am rather new to loading and running scripts so I'm not sure what I am looking at LOL.
I suspect the blogger script will run standard QT video but is not suitable for the additional controls on the pano's.
It's a shame about Ken ... it was a bit dirty to put the link in but I guess he was angry about the critisism..... not that it was unjustified.
It's a shame there isn't more activity here but I'm sure things will pick up once there is a stable system. I like the blog but I can see that some would be used to a forum set up.I do think maybe a duel system will confuse folk... and add to your admin tasks.
I am not going anywhere so you are kinda stuck with stonehead. I don't know why Ken and others couldn't run projects on more than one site but that's their choice.
If I can help with anything please give me a shout.

Hi Fred
I registered on the forum and followed the emailed link but the system still wont let me log in.

I will give it a chance to work through and try again tomorrow.

like what you have going there Ian. Lots' of surface area to absorb sound, limited 90 degree angles, and a good barrier between drumkit and console... Looks good!

Well I took a slightly different approach to this Ian, and it's working. It's showing on the blog, but not using the blogger player. Take a look...

Hi Fred
Thats interesting...how did you drop the reduced web page in.

I used "iframe" which is an html component. Same thing that is used to show the forums, filemanager, slideshow, song spotlight, flash at the top of the page and a few others. It lets you set the size parameters... I think the forums let you use html in their messages too.

Hey Scotty
I wouldn't surprised if it has been deleated as there has been a bit of a desertion from the site.
Glad you like the studio...it's coming together again now......never move house!!!!!!!

Yeah it's gone and so is Ken. He said he's not working here anymore, because this system is too hard to use. We all know better now don't we?

That's Ken. Never was the easiest of people to work with.

I wish him all the best, but I won't miss his melo-drama. I could never do enough for him... as host. So I guess he'll go off and be unhappy somewhere else...

Thanks for your involvement with it anyhow Mark...
