If you get a handle on playing that, it could come in very handy on a few tracks Jill. Enjoy!
From my initial lessons, seems to involve more picking out the melody and easier to play than guitar. Has a great tone and goes well together with the guitar. I will have to try recording it on top of a guitar track when I get a bit more practise.
Hi Jill, my Dad used to play the mandolin, it's a great sounding instrument. Hope you have lots of fun with it!
