He has a great voice and nice acoustic guitar. How did you hear of him, what nationality is he ? How do you embed YouTube into these blogs ? Didn't think you were keen on acoustic.

I saw him on the video bar that is on this blog (lower left column). It's one of the features of this blogging system to add this YouTube video bar. To add a YouTube video to a post here, just copy the embedding code that they supply with each video, and paste it into the new post (making sure you have the html tab clicked not the other one.
I'm not sure why you thought I was not keen on acoustic since I have tons of finished tracks that have it in them.... That should tell you otherwise... :-) I've never said that... As a matter of fact I've voiced many times that I love acoustic guitar, and acoustic instruments of all kinds... So I don't know where you got the idea I'm not keen on acoustics.
I know very often people have problems with the intonation of their acoustic guitar. Either out of tune or in need of fretwork. They sound bad if the frets are worn out and it changes the intonation. It's hard to keep a good acoustic sound from what I've seen, since it can cost money to have them corrected. The guy in this video has a good instrument and knows how to play it.
I had thought about trying to add some drums to his song here. I think there is room for it. But I'm just too busy with in process productions. One I'm working on now has acoustic in it (as well as electric).
Ask Joe how I've alwasy raved about his twelve string sound... I love it! But Joe takes care to keep his guitar in good repair, and he knows how to play it...
